Building a Lead-Generating Brand and Digital Presence for a Renewable Energy Company

Sol Fuel approached me at the conception of their company with a clear ambition: to launch a clean energy brand with a professional identity and a high-performing website designed to drive lead generation.

I was tasked with creating their full visual identity, supporting their marketing and sales teams with branded collateral, and developing a website optimised for client acquisition.

Project Overview

Operating in the renewable energy sector, Sol Fuel required a visual language that clearly communicated innovation, sustainability, and reliability.

The project involved building their brand from the ground up — starting with the logo and brand guidelines and extending into website development and the creation of a comprehensive library of graphics for both digital marketing and live event use.

My Approach

The branding began with the creation of a bold, recognisable logo.

I designed a modern wordmark where the letter “O” was replaced with a stylised sun symbol — representing clean energy, vitality, and the company’s focus on solar-powered solutions. The sun’s dynamic, clean lines ensure immediate visual association with renewable energy.

The colour palette was carefully selected:

  • Green to represent sustainability, growth, and environmental responsibility.

  • Blue to symbolise trust, technology, and forward-thinking innovation.

Typography was chosen for modernity and clarity — blending approachability with the strength required to position Sol Fuel as a credible, scalable energy provider.

For the website, I designed and developed a platform focused on lead generation, with clearly defined service pathways, strategically placed enquiry forms, and high-conversion call-to-action placements throughout. The site structure and content flow were optimised to guide visitors seamlessly from awareness to action.

In addition to the digital build, I developed brand guidelines to ensure consistent application of the visual identity across all future touchpoints.
I also created a series of graphic design elements, including:

  • Social media graphics to assist the marketing team’s outreach efforts.

  • Print collateral for conventions and exhibitions, ensuring the brand would maintain a strong, cohesive presence both online and offline.

Throughout the project, I worked closely with the Sol Fuel team, providing creative consultation and direction to ensure that every deliverable aligned with their vision and commercial goals.

Results

Sol Fuel now has a complete, cohesive brand identity and a professionally developed website primed for lead generation and growth.

With strong foundations in both digital and print marketing, Sol Fuel is well-positioned to build brand awareness, engage clients, and establish itself within the competitive renewable energy sector.
