Creating a Financial Brand Identity and Digital Platform for a Growing Forex Signals Service
Buy Or Sell FX approached us with a clear vision: to build a strong, credible brand in the competitive forex signals market and to create a digital platform that would facilitate real-time delivery of market insights and trading education.
I was tasked with developing the brand identity, establishing the design direction, and producing a website with integrated client functionality built for scalability and ease of use.
Project Overview
Buy Or Sell FX provides daily real-time forex signals to their subscribers, with future plans to offer beginner-friendly trading courses.
Initially hired to brand their identity, my role expanded to cover the visual direction of the platform, user interface structure, and preparation for a future mobile app expansion.
My Approach
The branding began with the creation of a bold, versatile logo. I designed an emblem that reflects financial decision-making and market movement, consisting of two dynamic arrows — one green (buy) and one red (sell) — integrated into a geometric, forward-moving design.
This visual immediately communicates the brand’s core offering: decisive action in a volatile environment.
For the colour palette, I selected:

Green to symbolise buying, growth, and opportunity.

Red to symbolise selling, caution, and exit strategies.

Monochrome black and white to reinforce a sense of professionalism, stability, and clarity — essential qualities for financial services.
The typography was carefully chosen to balance boldness with simplicity. “BUY” and “SELL” were given strong, contrasting treatments, with “OR” emphasised using a reversed colour block — a subtle nod to decision points in trading strategies.
The website design was developed around a minimalist, modern financial aesthetic. Key features included:

A custom client dashboard where subscribers could manage their profiles and subscriptions.

Integrated SMS functionality through a third-party plugin, delivering forex signals in real time and automatically removing unsubscribed users from the system.

Clear and frequent calls-to-action (CTAs) designed to convert visitors into subscribers or course participants.

A scalable structure ready to support the future rollout of a mobile application.
Throughout the project, I managed the overall design direction, ensuring the platform felt approachable yet professional, catering to both novice and experienced traders.

The strong visual branding, combined with client-centric digital functionality, ensures the service appeals to a wide audience while maintaining the flexibility needed for future expansion into mobile and education markets.
