Building a Complete Brand Identity and Digital Ecosystem for a Cryptocurrency Innovator

Cryptotality initially engaged me to design a single website to support their cryptocurrency purchasing services. As the project expanded, I was entrusted with creating a full brand identity, building a multi-site ecosystem, and supporting the development and visual strategy of one of the largest and most dynamic projects I have been involved with to date.

Project Overview

Cryptotality’s mission was to remove the barriers to cryptocurrency adoption by offering user-friendly platforms for buying cryptocurrencies, managing wallets, and building portfolios. As the project grew, it became essential to develop a cohesive family of brands under the Cryptotality umbrella, each addressing different stages of the user journey.

I was responsible for creating the full brand identity, designing multiple platforms, supporting technical integration, producing video content, and guiding the creative direction across all digital assets.

My Approach

The visual identity began with designing a master logo for Cryptotality — a clean, futuristic emblem symbolising interconnectedness and decentralised networks. The circular logo design, featuring connecting nodes and links, represents security, connection, and the seamless management of digital assets.

For the colour palette, I selected:

  • Vibrant Gradient Blues, symbolising trust, innovation, and forward-thinking technology — key characteristics for success in the cryptocurrency space.

Typography was chosen for modernity and technical precision — a geometric, slim sans-serif typeface conveying a clean, contemporary brand image.

To support the ecosystem’s expansion, I developed a series of sub-brand logos:

  • Buy.Cryptotality: Featuring the master logo within a seal-like emblem, representing trust and security in cryptocurrency purchasing.

  • Wallet.Cryptotality: Incorporating a wallet icon, symbolising personal asset management and accessibility.

  • Portfolio.Cryptotality: Featuring a folder icon, representing organised portfolio management and streamlined tracking.

Each sub-brand logo retained consistent styling and colour treatment to maintain strong brand recognition while clearly distinguishing the different services.

Beyond branding, I designed the UI/UX for multiple websites, ensuring each platform was easy to navigate, visually cohesive, and optimised for user trust and conversion. I also supported technical integration by working with pre-built scripts, ensuring a seamless front-end experience for users across the various services.

Additionally, I produced and edited promotional videos to support marketing campaigns and user onboarding, helping demystify complex processes for newcomers.

Results

Cryptotality now has a strong, cohesive brand presence supported by a multi-platform digital ecosystem tailored to cryptocurrency users at all levels.
The branding, website designs, video content, and technical integrations have collectively positioned Cryptotality as a trusted and user-centric name in the digital asset space.

This project not only expanded the client’s offering but also marked a significant milestone in my career, allowing me to apply and further develop a broad range of creative, technical, and strategic skills.
