Leading the Creative Rebrand for a Digital Agency
During my time as a freelancer, I was hired by Edge House Media to take on the role of Creative Director. The agency required a full brand refresh to better reflect its standards, services, and ambitions within the competitive digital market. I was responsible for leading the rebranding process and designing a cohesive visual presence across digital platforms.
Project Overview
Edge House Media was a UK-based web design agency offering tailored digital solutions to a diverse client base. To stay competitive and elevate their market presence, the agency recognised the need for a more impactful, professional identity that would resonate with modern business clients.
My role involved overseeing the creative direction for the rebrand, designing a new logo, conceptualising a stronger web presence, and producing a series of social media design assets to reinforce the agency’s visual communication strategy.
My Approach
The rebranding began with the creation of a bold, contemporary logo. I designed a monogram that combined the letters “E” and “H” into a cube-like structure, symbolising stability, creativity, and multidimensional thinking.
The addition of dynamic colour accents and a central play icon conveyed the agency’s energy, digital expertise, and focus on interactive media.
For the website concept, I proposed a clean, modern aesthetic designed to highlight Edge House Media’s bespoke service offering, technical skills, and creative capabilities. The navigation was structured for intuitive access to services, case studies, and contact information, ensuring a streamlined user experience.
Alongside the web concept, I developed a suite of social media assets with a consistent visual style, providing the team with ready-to-use materials to maintain brand cohesion across digital channels.
Throughout the process, I worked closely with the agency founders, contributing to strategic discussions on how design could support wider business goals and customer engagement.
Results
Although Edge House Media has since ceased operations, my time with the agency remains a formative and valued chapter in my professional journey. The rebrand project successfully elevated the agency’s image during its active years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to their growth while honing valuable design and development skills that continue to inform my work today.
